Our tick spray for chicks and domestic poultry is a repellent that supports protection against ticks and parasites. Ticks and lice can occur in both young and old animals and cause skin irritation and itching.
A weakened immune system, seasonal molting, mineral deficiency, or metabolism problems can enhance ectoparasite infestation.
The ingredients in the chicken tick spray create a protective barrier. Additionally, the product helps to control the spread of parasites.
Getting rid of parasites and ticks can be a lengthy process. To truly eliminate all pests, it makes sense to use the chicken tick spray both as a contact spray directly on the animals and as an environmental spray in the chicken coop in case of infestation. Additionally, the chicken tick spray can also be used preventively to ensure a healthy environment in the chicken coop.
Effective protection can only be achieved if all nesting and laying areas, perches, and floors are treated. Because if you only treat the infected chickens, you won't catch the parts of the ticks that like to hide in cracks and corners of the chicken coop during the day. So it can always come back to infest the chicks. If there is no acute infestation yet, the chicken tick spray can prevent it when used as an environmental spray.
Chicken tick spray as a contact spray:
The animal can also be sprayed directly with the spray in case of acute infestation. This kills ticks that are currently on the individual animal. If there is acute infestation, the surrounding area should always be treated with chicken tick spray.
As a contact spray: Spray directly onto the feathers of the animals, preferably on the back and under the wings, at a distance of approximately 5 cm. Be sure to avoid contact with the eyes and respiratory tract of the chickens!
As an environmental spray: Spray directly on the surrounding area (nests, resting areas, etc.).
Preventive measure: dilute 100 ml with 900 ml (1:9) and thoroughly spray all resistant objects. Repeat every 1-2 weeks.
Shake well before use!
Tip: It is also suitable as a spray for decorative birds. Use in an empty cage.
