Varroaprotect spray is an innovative drug created using the latest technologies; designed for highly effective control against mites, specifically the Varroa (varroatosis) and Acarapis woody (acarapidosis) mites. The preparation is ready made, meaning it is to be used immediately without further preparation. The drug is harmless to bees and honey.
The drug is used for varroatosis and acarapidosis disease in bees, simultaneously in all hives in the apiary - in the spring, after the first examination of the bees and in the summer-autumn period after pumping out commercial honey, as well as in preparation for wintering.
The ambient temperature should be in the range from + 10 ° С to + 25 ° С. If the outside temperature is higher, the bees can fly out of the nest, brood in the colonies can occur and this will reduce the efficiency.
Do not allow the drug to come into contact with the mucous membranes of the body and hands. It is advisable to wear goggles and rubber gloves before use. Before use, shake the bottle well and pour into any hand-held spray bottle.
It is best to use the drug in the early evening. Spray the preparation over the frames from both sides, falling on the bees; 3-4 shots per side. The finely dispersed spraying ensures an even penetration of the product: microdroplets settle in the villi of the bees and thanks to social contact, as well as the natural instinct of cleansing, the product is evenly distributed.
The even distribution of the drug on the bees is due to the fact that the bees cleanse each other and the drug circulates throughout the family. The mite will start rolling in the next day.
Treatment of bee colonies three times, with an interval of 7-10 days.
Store in a dry, dark place, out of reach of children and animals, at a temperature of + 5 ° C to + 25 ° C separately from food. The use of protective gloves is recommended.
